Engineer I- Device (Semiconductor Modeling Test & Analysis)

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing test plans for semiconductor device characterization and modeling
• Operate laboratory equipment including parameter analyzers, oscilloscopes, capacitance meters, and probe stations
• Collect, organize, and evaluate data from device characterization testing
• Use statistical methods and data visualization tools to analyze test results and identify trends or anomalies
• Compare measured data with simulation and model results and document findings
• Write scripts using Python/SciPy, VB, Excel/VBA, or JMP to automate data collection and analysis tasks
• Prepare clear documentation of test procedures, data analysis steps, and results
• Collaborate with modeling, design, and process engineering teams to support ongoing projects

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 0-3 years of professional experience
• Academic or industry experience with semiconductor device testing or laboratory electrical measurements
• Basic understanding of electrical circuit theory, semiconductor device physics, and modeling concepts
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Python/SciPy, or JMP
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
