Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create construction drawing sets from design concepts
• Develop CAD drawings including fabrication drawings and event service floor plans
• Communicate visually how fabrications are built from custom aluminum frames
• Work from sketches and input from project team members
• Collaborate with various departments and shop personnel for drawing approval
• Solve complex problems for custom display properties
• Manage changes and red-lines to drawings efficiently

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of recent full-time use of AutoCAD or similar tools (Inventor, SolidWorks)
• Experience in architectural or exhibit house environments
• Strong skills in 2D and 3D AutoCAD
• Ability to visualize components in 3D
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends during peak seasons

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Inventor or similar parametric modeling tools
• Degree in Architecture or Engineering
