About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety analysis of complex advanced automotive systems involving vehicle control, E/E architecture, and human factors
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative FTA, FMEA, and STPA analysis of complex automotive systems
  • Derive concrete safety requirements from analysis results and align with relevant stakeholders
  • Design functional and technical safety concepts to address behavior and architecture limitations
  • Conduct thorough reviews of safety engineering work products

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field
  • Profound practical experience in FuSa and SOTIF engineering
  • Deep knowledge of ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 standards
  • Experience with HARA, FTA, FMEA, and STPA methodologies
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of German or Chinese is an advantage
  • Familiarity with L2+/NCAP regulations and automotive safety challenges
