Engineer Extended Workbench SWP

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on surgical equipment, including operating tables and columns, within a workshop environment in Groot-Bijgaarden.
• Manage the full repair lifecycle from A to Z: receiving and registering requests in the ticketing system, diagnosis, repair, testing, and final release.
• Conduct functional and safety checks to ensure all equipment meets specifications before returning it to the customer.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including checklists, service reports, and parts management within the ticketing system.
• Handle the packaging and shipping of repaired equipment in coordination with logistics.
• Provide occasional support to Field Service Engineers during on-site maintenance, repairs, or installations.
• Assist Technical Specialists with support ticket triage and technical analysis when required.

Requirements

• Completed A2 or Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in using PC applications and ticketing systems for clear and complete reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schemas, and service instructions.
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French, with a working understanding of English for technical documentation and training.
• Valid Driving License B.
• Strong focus on quality and safety; experience in the medical sector or with VCA/BA4/BA5 certifications is a plus.
• Experience in a workshop environment involving electro-mechanical repairs is preferred.
