About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate engineer equipment mechanics in repairing, adjusting, and servicing construction equipment and vehicles
- Manage equipment readiness, maintenance shop organizations, and maintenance assets
- Schedule maintenance tasks based on equipment condition and priority levels
- Monitor workmanship quality and ensure optimal use of equipment, facilities, and personnel
- Maintain inventory of repair parts and manage requisitions for replacement stock
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and time schedules
- Enforce compliance with all administrative policies, safety requirements, and governmental regulations
- Ensure adherence to ISO-9002 policies and procedures
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- 8 years of directly related work experience
- 2 years of supervisory experience in an engineer equipment maintenance and repair environment
- Associate degree or equivalent (combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Completion of the Engineer Officers Course or equivalent
- Proficiency in technical inspections of engineer-type equipment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- USMC MOS 1341 or 1349
- Army MOS 91L or 91X
- Navy Seabee (CM)
