About the role

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the repair, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment within the Metrology (FTC) area
  • Ensure stable and effective equipment conditions to achieve zero-defect quality targets
  • Manage the commissioning of new equipment and systems
  • Collaborate closely with equipment manufacturers, spare parts suppliers, and external service providers
  • Drive continuous efficiency improvements and cost reduction through the optimization of maintenance processes
  • Create and maintain maintenance instructions and equipment documentation for production personnel
  • Participate in cross-departmental and site-wide project teams for capacity expansion and strategic production planning
  • Report results based on predefined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Plan and conduct equipment-specific training for maintenance staff

Requirements

  • Degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Service Engineering, or a comparable field
  • Valid certification as an electrician (Elektrofachkraft)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience in data preparation and analysis
  • Fluency in German and good command of English
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build networks with suppliers and internal partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience in maintenance or process engineering within the semiconductor industry
