Engineer - Device Driver Development

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to design system-level software solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced development environment to support various features in device drivers.
• Solve complex system-level problems using strong analytical skills.
• Partner with peers and leads to meet aggressive development timelines and performance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience (or 1+ year with a Master's degree).
• 1-4 years of experience specifically in Device Driver development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong fundamentals in C and Operating Systems (OS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Embedded Systems.
• Knowledge of Networking protocols.
• Experience working with QNX or Linux platforms.
