About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the qualification and ongoing monitoring of DRAM/NAND memory products for high-reliability Aerospace & Defense (A&D) applications.
  • Define qualification and acceptance requirements, including screening steps aligned with NASA/GSFC PEM-INST-001 and relevant military standards.
  • Perform risk assessments throughout the qualification cycle, evaluating standards gaps and customer mission profiles.
  • Develop and maintain product reliability methodologies, metrics (FIT, DPM), and monitor strategies to assess emerging failure mechanisms.
  • Establish and enforce quality requirements for A&D, military, and space-grade products.
  • Provide technical support for customer support teams, including analysis of returned material and preparation of qualification summaries.
  • Coordinate with R&D, manufacturing, and external test partners to ensure auditable qualification and upscreening practices.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field of study.
  • 3+ years of experience in semiconductor quality, reliability, product engineering, or qualification.
  • Knowledge of DRAM, NAND, and VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Aerospace & Defense or high-reliability programs.
  • Working knowledge of aerospace/military microelectronics standards (e.g., NASA/GSFC PEM-INST-001, SAE AS6294, MIL-STD-883).
  • Familiarity with data analysis or scripting/automation tools such as Python, Perl, C++, or Java.
  • Awareness of radiation reliability concepts like Total Ionizing Dose (TID) and Single Event Effects (SEE).
