Engineer | Configuration Management and Configuration Control

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and methodologies to support the configuration management process
• Ensure compliance of processes with the configuration management plan and rules
• Control Part Number attributes, effectivities, and lifecycle
• Coordinate and track product changes and control respective documents like Engineering Orders and Change Requests
• Establish product structure trees for industrialization and certification steps
• Identify issues and propose improvements to meet configuration requirements
• Provide management with project status, work estimates, and projections
• Prepare and accompany quality audits for configuration processes
• Generate project reports and certification documentation

Requirements

• Academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics, or equivalent
• Proven experience with product configuration management
• Experience with PLM tools (Enovia VPM, Teamcenter), MS Office, or ERP (SAP)
• Programming skills in C++, Python, and VBA
• Knowledge of materials and production techniques
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx)
