Engineer, CE PYE

Responsibilities

• Perform sophisticated electrical device characterization to determine electrical fail mechanisms.
• Operate fault isolation equipment to accurately narrow down failure defect locations.
• Conduct physical failure analysis to identify and classify physical defects.
• Establish and hypothesize potential electrical or process fail mechanisms to support process improvement.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and Global Quality teams to resolve defectivity issues.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on failure mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement new fault isolation and physical failure analysis techniques.
• Lead and guide a team of CE PYE technicians in a collaborative environment.
• Coordinate the maintenance and high uptime of fault isolation and physical failure analysis tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or Material Science.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong drive to excel.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information effectively.
• Knowledge of fault isolation equipment, techniques, and physical failure analysis.
• Understanding of NAND, DRAM, or HBM devices and Fab processes.
• Ability to support shift rotation as required to meet operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to AI/machine learning or data analytics applied in engineering or manufacturing environments.
