Engineer, BEV Function Integration and Calibration, Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the development, integration, and calibration of powertrain and drive systems for BEV and EREV vehicles
• Coordinate drive system function integration activities across internal teams and suppliers
• Lead inverter-related calibration topics including torque delivery, efficiency, and thermal behavior
• Own the development and calibration of Scout-specific drive functions from concept to series release
• Define and manage function bring-up with software suppliers, including onsite support
• Develop and execute test cases across SiL, HiL, testbench, and vehicle testing
• Coordinate software release readiness and validation compliance
• Collaborate with powertrain hardware, chassis, vehicle dynamics, and E/E teams
• Support prototype and vehicle testing activities including calibration drives and off-road testing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in powertrain or drive system development and calibration
• Experience with electric or electrified vehicles (BEV / EREV)
• Proven experience in function development across the V-model
• Practical experience with calibration and validation on testbenches and vehicles
• Familiarity with ETAS INCA and MATLAB/Simulink
• Ability to read and understand Simulink models and C-based source code
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and global suppliers
