Engineer, Automation Software Development

Responsibilities

• Contribute to an engineering project team delivering cost-effective software solutions for R&D facilities
• Collaborate with team members to solve software problems and understand process design requirements
• Assist in defining and documenting software design specifications and developing design concepts
• Support the creation of new software capabilities aligned with company development standards
• Provide regular updates on assigned tasks, progress, and technical issues to the project lead

Requirements

• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Exposure to or coursework in C#, C/C++, Python, Vue, HTML, JavaScript, or Oracle PL/SQL
• Familiarity with software development best practices
• Strong communication, listening, and attention to detail skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with user interface application development (academic or professional)
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
