About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural and engineering calculations to support design development and technical feasibility for high-rise and urban master plan components
- Prepare, review, and approve detailed drawings, specifications, reports, and technical data in accordance with project standards and building codes
- Coordinate technical design activities across multidisciplinary teams, including structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines
- Analyze design requirements to contribute innovative solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness
- Support the development of comprehensive project documentation and ensure technical accuracy throughout the design process
- Assist in training and mentoring architectural and design personnel on best practices in large-scale project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in architectural or engineering design within consulting or construction industries
- Demonstrated expertise in large-scale urban master plan projects and high-rise building components
- Advanced proficiency with design and drafting software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards for urban development
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to coordinate across multidisciplinary stakeholder groups
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional experience in the Middle Eastern construction market or knowledge of regional building standards
- Experience mentoring, training, and evaluating junior design professionals
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building principles
- Professional certifications in architecture, engineering, or project management
