Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of technical issues, including initial troubleshooting, root cause identification, and resolution
• Write code and scripts using Okta APIs and SDKs to build user scenarios and reproduce issues
• Collect information and document bugs for the Engineering team regarding API and product issues
• Provide feedback to training and documentation teams to address emerging issues proactively
• Drive process improvements by applying creative thinking to industry standard practices
• Meet or exceed customer expectations regarding response quality, timeliness, and overall experience
• Deliver against established customer experience and efficiency targets

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in the Okta Support space
• Mandatory Okta Certification
• 3+ years of experience in Customer Support and technical support
• Proven experience supporting Identity Access Management (IAM)
• Hands-on experience supporting LDAP, SSO, SAML, or WS-Fed
• Ability to support 24/7 operations across three shifts
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and articulate when handling difficult customer situations
