Responsibilities

• Oversee quality activities from Surface Mount Technology (SMT) to Final Assembly at supplier sites
• Manage onboarding and transition processes for Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs)
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives from sample builds through mass production
• Lead quality launch plans and facilitate supplier qualification during product development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address non-conformances and CAPAs
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for operational risks
• Perform periodic process audits and Quality System Assessments (QSA) of ODM suppliers
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing and repair processes to achieve Operational Excellence
• Conduct weekly and monthly quality reviews with ODM suppliers to maintain high standards
• Develop and deliver training programs for junior Global ODM Quality engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering
• 8+ years of relevant experience (or 6+ years with a Master's degree)
• Comprehensive understanding of PC architecture
• 6+ years of experience in SMT, mechanical assembly, testing, or industrial engineering
• Strong knowledge and application of Lean Six Sigma principles
• Proficiency in Design for Excellence (DFx) techniques
• Fluency in English and the local language

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Direct experience in PC product engineering
