Engineer 4, Engineering Operations

Responsibilities

• Support and develop the Global Operations platform for streaming services by automating operational systems
• Manage and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP
• Lead, support, and mentor junior engineers to help develop their technical capabilities
• Build cloud-agnostic solutions that can be deployed across various cloud providers
• Assist in the development of custom software for automation and observability
• Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support to remediate production issues
• Maintain operational documentation, including wikis and README files

Requirements

• 7-10 years of relevant professional experience in engineering operations or infrastructure
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Proficiency in Python for automation and software development
• Experience working within Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk
