Engineer 4 - Engineering Operations

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers in production and non-production environments
• Provide L2/L3 application support for critical business applications, including root cause analysis and fixes
• Plan and execute OS and application security vulnerability patching
• Proactively monitor server, application, and service health using enterprise monitoring tools
• Act as Service Assurance Lead (SAL) during high-severity incidents, leading bridge calls and coordinating cross-functional teams
• Drive incident resolution, provide stakeholder updates, and ensure proper post-incident reviews

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Windows and Linux administration
• Proven experience in L2/L3 application support and major incident management
• Expertise in security vulnerability management and patching
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, SCOM, Splunk, or AppDynamics
• Solid understanding of networking basics including DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
