Engineer 2, Engineering Operations

Responsibilities

• Package and prepare applications for enterprise deployment using MSI, MSIX, EXE, PKG, and DMG formats
• Deploy applications across Windows and macOS environments using SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and Jamf
• Create and manage silent installations to enable automated software distribution
• Perform rigorous application testing to ensure compatibility across diverse device environments
• Troubleshoot installation failures, packaging issues, and complex compatibility challenges
• Manage the full application lifecycle, including upgrades, patches, and version control
• Maintain detailed documentation for packaging standards, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and deployment standards

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant work experience in application packaging or engineering operations
• Hands-on experience with Windows packaging (MSI/MSIX) and deployment tools like SCCM or Microsoft Intune
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks
• Experience creating and deploying macOS packages (PKG and DMG) using Jamf or Intune
• Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash/Zsh)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills regarding Windows and macOS operating systems
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent professional experience)
