Engineer 2 - Cyber Security Engineering

Responsibilities

• Build, install, and configure cyber security systems and infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and anti-virus systems.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and vulnerability tests to identify risks within networks, applications, and operating systems.
• Protect network infrastructure including routers, switches, optical devices, and SDN.
• Perform technical analysis of vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation actions to reduce potential impacts.
• Support the development of security policies, procedures, documentation, and standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network stacks and protocols across various platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent combination of coursework and experience).
• 2-5 years of experience in cyber security or network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols at all layers and secure routing.
• Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) and network automation.
• Proficiency in vulnerability assessment and network device security.
• Ability to work variable schedules, including nights and weekends, as necessary.
