Engineer 1

Responsibilities

• Perform in-field training and hands-on work on heavy-lift and heavy transport jobs
• Conduct rigging calculations and use engineering programs including AutoCAD, Inventor, 3-D Lift Plan, MatchCAD, RISA, and Excel
• Develop fabrication drawings and design calculations for new and existing tools
• Create lift plans that evaluate safety, feasibility, and efficiency
• Develop load test plans and participate in field testing activities
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to create innovative heavy-lift solutions and perform job walks
• Create documentation such as specification sheets, operating instructions, and test certifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Construction Engineering from an accredited university
• Strong technical background with demonstrated experience
• Proficiency in Statics and CAD modeling
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel to jobsites and projects as needed
• Ability to perform physical work and work long hours or weekends if required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must pass drug test, background check, and fit for duty assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with crane, heavy equipment, rigging, or transport
