Engine Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct full technical inspections of newly acquired engines according to technical documentation and specifications
• Develop and control engine mounting technologies for test stands or final products
• Perform engine startup and running-in, monitor parameters, and analyze telemetry and measurement data
• Perform full or partial disassembly of failed or end-of-life engines
• Conduct component defect analysis using measurement and non-destructive testing methods
• Participate in engine assembly after repair or modification following design documentation and technical specifications
• Identify root causes of failures or wear and prepare defect reports

Requirements

• Experience as a design engineer, research engineer, or test/repair engineer for aviation, automotive, or marine engines (specifically piston or turboprop)
• Deep knowledge of engine design, including kinematic and thermal processes and wear mechanisms
• Experience with test stands, sensors (temperature, pressure, RPM, torque), and data acquisition systems
• Practical skills with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and bore gauges
