Engine Component Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the CAD design and development of various engine components for industrial vehicles.
• Perform packaging studies to integrate different subsystems into multiple environments for space optimization.
• Optimize designs using simulations (mass, stress levels, manufacturability) and industry feedback.
• Create 2D drawings including GD&T and 3D models to improve compactness, manufacturability, and system durability.
• Define development phases for design, verification, and industrialization in collaboration with suppliers.
• Communicate development progress and activity tracking to project teams and internal clients.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• At least 6 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in engine component development.
• Proficiency in Creo CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Fluent in English.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with suppliers, purchasing departments, and design offices.
