About the Company

Ounce is a community-based service model enabled by technology that provides services to residents of affordable housing properties, improving engagement and outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the face of Ounce on-site to welcome residents and build awareness of services
  • Represent residents to Ounce and external organizations to ensure community needs are met
  • Support logistics including setup, breakdown, and light event coordination
  • Facilitate warm handoffs and introductions to the virtual care navigator team
  • Share resident information and feedback back to the virtual team

Requirements

  • Availability for in-person work at assigned properties in California
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to 1–2 properties biweekly
  • Comfort using a smartphone or tablet to track interactions and referrals
  • Experience in community engagement, outreach, or customer service
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in affordable housing or social service organizations
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Zoom, or CRMs
  • Lived experience or deep understanding of the communities served
