About the role
About the Company
Ounce is a community-based service model enabled by technology that provides services to residents of affordable housing properties, improving engagement and outcomes at scale.
Responsibilities
- Act as the face of Ounce on-site to welcome residents and build awareness of services
- Represent residents to Ounce and external organizations to ensure community needs are met
- Support logistics including setup, breakdown, and light event coordination
- Facilitate warm handoffs and introductions to the virtual care navigator team
- Share resident information and feedback back to the virtual team
Requirements
- Availability for in-person work at assigned properties in California
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to 1–2 properties biweekly
- Comfort using a smartphone or tablet to track interactions and referrals
- Experience in community engagement, outreach, or customer service
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in affordable housing or social service organizations
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Zoom, or CRMs
- Lived experience or deep understanding of the communities served
