Engagement Manager - Professional Services

Responsibilities

• Establish effective services strategies for large enterprise customers in Japan to ensure successful platform adoption.
• Partner with Sales to position services, define scopes of work, and provide detailed implementation and training proposals.
• Conduct structured discovery to understand customer business priorities and organizational decision-making processes.
• Design realistic delivery plans, including Statements of Work, project plans, and detailed documentation.
• Build long-term, trusted relationships with both business and operational stakeholders.
• Coordinate with global and regional teams to ensure seamless transitions from pre-sales to delivery.
• Manage project governance by identifying risks early and maintaining clear timelines and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in professional services, consulting, or enterprise technology environments.
• Direct experience working with large Japanese enterprises or complex organizational structures.
• Strong capability in structured problem solving and solution design.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English (written and verbal).
• High attention to detail regarding documentation, planning, and project execution.
• Ability to work effectively within a global, matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Customer Experience (CX), social media platforms, or enterprise SaaS.
• Experience working in multinational environments supporting Japan-based customers.
