About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver accessible consultation and communications activities to help communities and stakeholders understand project impacts.
- Organise events and run consultations to provide opportunities for public feedback and questions.
- Interpret qualitative and quantitative data to identify key themes and present findings in reports.
- Develop engagement strategies and create communication materials such as posters, banners, and public-facing maps.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery for clients.
Requirements
- A degree or comparable professional experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in one or more sectors: roads, rail, utilities, water, environment, or energy.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, including developing approaches or delivering consultations.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience contributing to reports that meet regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Membership of a relevant professional or trade body.
- Experience mentoring, supporting, or line-managing colleagues.
