Engagement & Consultation Professional

Responsibilities

• Deliver accessible consultation and communications activities to help communities and stakeholders understand project impacts.
• Organise events and run consultations to provide opportunities for public feedback and questions.
• Interpret qualitative and quantitative data to identify key themes and present findings in reports.
• Develop engagement strategies and create communication materials such as posters, banners, and public-facing maps.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery for clients.

Requirements

• A degree or comparable professional experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in one or more sectors: roads, rail, utilities, water, environment, or energy.
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, including developing approaches or delivering consultations.
• Strong data analysis skills and experience contributing to reports that meet regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership of a relevant professional or trade body.
• Experience mentoring, supporting, or line-managing colleagues.
