Energy Operations Support

Responsibilities

• Provide direct operational support to Energy Commodity broking desks, specifically focusing on Oil & Physical Markets.
• Ensure all top day trades are allocated, cleared, and accepted in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform deal entry into both in-house systems and external exchange systems.
• Work closely with front office brokers to assist with queries and requirements.
• Monitor and resolve issues with downstream internal system feeds and processes.
• Manage counterparty commission rate configuration and monitoring.
• Assist the Energy Client Services team with the onboarding of new clients.
• Maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements (FCA) and the company's operational risk framework.
• Manage personal and group email mailboxes efficiently and distribute reports accurately.

Requirements

• Proven experience with exchange deal entry systems.
• Hands-on experience using the Trayport or GlobalVision trading platforms.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, busy environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to task management.
