Energy Markets Operator

Responsibilities

• Monitor Intraday and Balancing markets during night shifts and manage open portfolio positions
• Oversee automatic operation and management of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and intervene for manual management when required
• Submit bids to the balancing market for company portfolios
• Prepare end-of-shift reports to update the morning shift
• Manage data and reconciliation of invoices and settlements from ADMIE and HCMD
• Check balancing market settlement data, identify, and report discrepancies
• Participate in rotating shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Economics
• Up to 2 years of work experience in the Energy sector or a Back Office role
• Ability to perform accurate and repetitive data entry within tight timeframes
• Ability to process and reconcile data from external entities (ADMIE, HCMD)
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Very good knowledge of MS Office
• Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
