Energy Market Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze electricity and natural gas markets while monitoring and interpreting regulatory developments at national and European levels
• Develop and implement advanced quantitative models to support strategic decisions for the Energy Management Division
• Conduct scenario analyses and assess the impact of regulatory changes on company profitability and competitiveness
• Prepare documented reports and present strategic direction proposals to company management
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Trading, Risk, and Regulatory Affairs for data and analysis integration

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Science, Economics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience in the energy sector
• Proven experience in market modeling and policy/regulatory analysis
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, R, or Julia
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Experience with national and European energy policy
• Experience in sectors such as Power Generation (Thermal, Hydro, RES), Demand Side Flexibility, ICT, Smart Grids, Electric Vehicles, or Storage Control
