Energy Efficiency Specialist

Responsibilities

• Participate in thermal, energetic, and low-carbon design and feasibility for buildings and equipment systems
• Perform various studies including energy audits, climatic analyses, and regulatory thermal calculations (RE2020, RT2012, etc.)
• Model building energy behavior to estimate real and projected consumption
• Analyze Measurement and Verification Plans (PMV/IPMVP) associated with calculated commitments
• Conduct technical, regulatory, and innovative monitoring regarding construction methods and certifications
• Perform occasional site supervision, commissioning, and operational monitoring

Requirements

• Higher degree in building (Bac +2 to 5)
• At least 5 years of experience in thermal and/or environment/certification
• Experience in Project Management (Maîtrise d’Œuvre) for renovation and building design
• Strong knowledge of building thermal performance and heat production systems
• Proficiency in modeling tools such as Comfie, Pléiades, Perrenoud, or Elodie

Preferred Qualifications

• Mastery of the IPMVP protocol
• Knowledge of Rhino Grasshopper, Dialux, AutoCAD, or Revit
