Energy Economics/Energy Policy Intern

Responsibilities

• Support the development of energy market models and products
• Research, analyze, and process energy market relevant data
• Program and automate internal business processes
• Independently handle assigned sub-projects
• Support internal teams with analytical and general tasks

Requirements

• Degree in energy management, engineering, computer science, natural sciences, or economics
• Project experience with a programming language such as Python, C++, or Java
• Experience with database languages, particularly SQL (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
• Capability to work independently with precision, reliability, and learning aptitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with European energy markets and policies
• Interest in renewable energy, hydrogen economy, and flexibility options
