Energy Director

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of McAdams’ Energy Strategy to drive revenue expansion and market share in Texas
• Build and maintain relationships with utilities, renewable energy developers, and EPC firms
• Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing multidisciplinary energy professionals
• Oversee project execution to ensure quality, profitability, and on-time delivery
• Manage financial performance including bookings, revenue, utilization, and backlog
• Provide technical and operational leadership on major initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in the energy sector
• Demonstrated success in business development
• Established relationships within utility and renewable energy networks
• Experience managing cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
• Strong understanding of entitlement, permitting, and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PE licensure in Texas or Florida
