Energy Component Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage incidents, problem requests, and work requests including configuration changes and minor enhancements
• Coordinate efforts with other IT support teams across SAP and Non-SAP applications
• Gather and analyze business requirements from global stakeholders
• Set up configurations, implement changes, and perform unit and integration testing
• Assist with work estimation and planning within an Agile implementation framework
• Develop scripts or workflows to automate repetitive tasks and support internal audits

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting financial applications for Upstream processes (e.g., Energy Components, CGI Production Accounting, or EDI viewer)
• Proficiency in SQL, Java, Javascript, or Python
• Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or SAP BOBI Crystal Reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Full stack development experience using Java and Oracle Exadata
• Experience hosting web applications and databases on cloud services (AWS ROSA, AWS RDS, etc.)
• Experience supporting patch upgrades and internal regulatory compliance reporting
• Knowledge of containerization, CI/CD, and modern authentication/authorization
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Master's in Computer Applications, or a related field
