Energetics Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and coach production employees to meet safety, quality, and output targets
• Execute production schedules and adjust staffing/priorities as needed
• Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements
• Enforce safety policies and conduct toolbox talks
• Identify and resolve production issues regarding equipment, material, and methods
• Track and report KPIs including scrap, throughput, downtime, and rework
• Lead 5S, lean, and continuous improvement activities
• Conduct employee training, onboarding, and performance evaluations
• Ensure accurate completion of production records and ERP/MES transactions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in energetics, propulsion, or aerospace manufacturing
• At least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
• Knowledge of energetic material handling and hazardous production operations
• Proficiency with ERP, MES, or traveler systems
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering, or related field preferred
• Must be 21+ years of age and able to pass background checks and drug tests for explosives licensing

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of rocket motor assembly
• Experience with automated manufacturing systems
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies
