Endpoint Configuration Management Functional Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead Endpoint Management technical support services for Army customer networks, ensuring efficient system monitoring and management.
• Operate, monitor, sustain, and secure managed devices and security systems, including IPS/IDS, firewalls, proxies, and routers.
• Develop scripts and utilities for routine task automation and API connections within the Army JRSS boundary.
• Manage personnel by assigning them to projects, directing activities, and evaluating performance.
• Maintain a Knowledge and Lessons Learned repository, including TTPs, migration documentation, and architecture diagrams.
• Ensure long-term system operations and administration requirements are integrated into information systems planning.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and configuration of computer software and operating system enhancements.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT operations, engineering, or infrastructure modernization.
• 4+ years of experience in an IT Manager or Lead position.
• MS or BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP).
• Technical proficiency with Windows Server, MAC OS, RHEL, Puppet, PowerShell, and WSUS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Enterprise Army DoDIN/O&M/CND tools and ITIL-based business processes.
• Expertise in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, VSA) and virtualization software.
• Knowledge of Windows Domains, Active Directory, DNS, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Familiarity with Army or DoD Information Management and Security processes.
