Endocrinology Advanced Care Provider - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical exams for endocrine disorders
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as diabetes, obesity, thyroid, and adrenal disorders
• Order and interpret lab tests and imaging studies in collaboration with endocrinologists
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within a multidisciplinary team
• Monitor patient progress and provide personalized education on lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system
• Participate in clinical protocol development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Valid state license to practice as an NP or PA
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in endocrinology
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong clinical assessment skills and understanding of endocrine disorders
