Endocrinologist Specialist and/or Consultant

Responsibilities

• Participate and support all initiatives involving diabetes management including remote patient monitoring and related technology platforms
• Work with nursing and operational teams to implement program policies and priorities
• Establish collaborative relationships with community-based endocrinologists and serve as a liaison between providers, families, and schools
• Conduct case management for staff with complex needs related to diabetes and endocrine care
• Serve as a clinical resource for GluCare medical personnel
• Conduct staff training, presentations, quality improvement activities, research, and community outreach
• Stay updated on health management policy, emerging research, and technology related to diabetes
• Participate in clinical accreditation and the establishment of specific programs like thyroid and weight loss management
• Support hospital infection control programs

Requirements

• Medical degree with US board certification (or equivalence) in Endocrinology or diabetology
• DHA medical license to practice Endocrinology in the UAE
• Thorough understanding of the endocrine system, diseases, and disorders
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and research skills
• Proficiency with computers and medical equipment
• Multilingualism is advantageous
