Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and management of endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and metabolic bone disease
- Interpret and manage diagnostic tests including laboratory, imaging, and dynamic testing
- Collaborate with family physicians and other specialists to ensure continuity of care
- Provide patient education and support for chronic disease management
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary case discussions
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD)
- Certification in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
- Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Strong clinical and communication skills
