About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support by responding to service desk tickets and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on end-user devices including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues, such as replacing hard drives, motherboards, and memory.
- Maintain and update systems to ensure software and operating systems are current and secure.
- Document all support activities, including issues resolved and troubleshooting steps, via the incident management system.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets.
- Collaborate with other technology teams to resolve complex issues and implement new technologies.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of desktop support experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with Dell/HP and Mac hardware.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to document technical activities and maintain accurate records.
- High School Diploma preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) or similar certification.
- Working knowledge of enterprise tools such as Azure, Entra, Intune, and Jamf.
- Familiarity with network protocols and diagnostic tools.
