About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support by responding to service desk tickets and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on end-user devices including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware issues, such as replacing hard drives, motherboards, and memory.
  • Maintain and update systems to ensure software and operating systems are current and secure.
  • Document all support activities, including issues resolved and troubleshooting steps, via the incident management system.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets.
  • Collaborate with other technology teams to resolve complex issues and implement new technologies.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of desktop support experience.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Dell/HP and Mac hardware.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to document technical activities and maintain accurate records.
  • High School Diploma preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) or similar certification.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise tools such as Azure, Entra, Intune, and Jamf.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and diagnostic tools.
