Emulation Methodology Lead

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and support of SoC pre-silicon platforms
• Design, develop, and deploy uniform global methodologies for emulation build generation and debug across various FPGA-based platforms
• Lead pre-silicon prototyping for new SoC designs, including enablement and bring-up
• Manage cross-site collaboration, vendor engagements, and executive communication
• Debug low-level software and hardware issues using tools such as JTAG and kernel debuggers
• Perform validation and debug of digital circuits and SoC architectures

Requirements

• 15 years of experience in emulation and silicon environments
• Expertise in Verilog and SystemVerilog
• Proficiency in Python and TCL scripting
• Experience with Xilinx or Intel FPGAs, including tools and timing closure techniques
• Strong C programming experience
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in ASIC design, verification, validation, or integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with emulation platforms such as Veloce or Palladium
• Deep understanding of SoC building blocks including interconnects, power management, PMIC, NoC, and peripherals
• Knowledge of CPU/DSP cores, multimedia, IO, and bus protocols
• Understanding of power and performance metrics
