About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide front line support for EMR software, assisting users with setup and troubleshooting
- Customize dynamic forms, patient forms, visit notes, and encounter forms
- Set up automated appointment reminders via SMS, calls, and email
- Configure eFax, Dymo Label Printer, and Medscan applications
- Implement e-prescribing functionalities and set up Lab, Immunization registry, and HIE interfaces
- Conduct training for internal teams and clients (Providers, Admins, and Staff)
- Test new features and modules such as Patient Portal and Telehealth
- Collaborate with finance, billing, interface, and development departments
Requirements
- Experience with Medical Records software
- Understanding of typical medical office workflows
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations
- Knowledge of setting up e-prescribing for medications and controlled substances
- Valid driver’s license for regular travel to client offices
