Employment Specialist

Responsibilities

• Actively contact corporate employers to source job and internship leads for students
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with businesses through frequent follow-up
• Conduct corporate presentations to promote triOS graduates and upcoming events
• Attend networking events, association meetings, trade shows, and career fairs
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to organize career fairs, lunch and learns, and student success stories
• Deliver new student orientations and "Employment Ready" workshops to facilitate career goal setting
• Meet established job placement and internship targets as defined by management
• Develop an extensive account base using corporate administration systems and market research

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology, Business, or Career Development
• Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment (with proven placement success) or business development
• Minimum 3 years of experience in adult training, teaching, or career counseling
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• Strong knowledge of labour market trends and employment search techniques
• Proficiency in MS Office, internet research, and email communication
• Superior organizational and problem-solving skills

Benefits

• Base salary of $52,500
• Eligibility for performance-based bonuses
