About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise on contentious and non-contentious UK employment law matters, including employee relations, performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances, senior exits, redundancies, restructurings, and settlement agreements
- Support sensitive employment matters, including workplace investigations, whistleblowing complaints, misconduct, discrimination, harassment, bullying, senior employee issues, and complex terminations
- Partner with HR, legal, commercial, procurement, and senior business stakeholders on EMEA and international employment matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documentation, including contracts, settlement agreements, and TUPE-related documentation
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK, or equivalent overseas qualification with strong UK employment law experience
- Experience advising on UK employment law matters including employee relations, investigations, and redundancies
- Experience supporting corporations, in-house legal teams, or HR teams on complex employment issues
- Exposure to EMEA or international employment law, cross-border advisory work, or TUPE
