About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle cases from pre-litigation through litigation, including pre-suit responsibilities and senior attorney duties post-filing
- Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
- Guide clients through the case process and maintain strong client relationships
- Interact with expert witnesses, draft expert reports and affidavits
- Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
Requirements
- J.D. from a fully ABA-accredited law school
- Active member in good standing of the bar in your state
- Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation and litigation cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Self-starter motivated by long-term career goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wage and hour claims
