About the role
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of cases from pre-litigation to litigation
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memorandum
- Guiding clients through the case process
- Interacting with expert witnesses, including conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits
- Attendance and preparation at depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
Requirements
- Law degree (J.D. / Juris Doctor) from a fully ABA accredited law school
- Active member in good standing of the bar in the state of practice
- Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation and litigation cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
