Employment Law Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• Handle cases from pre-litigation through litigation, trial preparation, and trial
• Manage the pre-suit process and assist senior attorneys once claims file suit
• Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
• Guide clients through the case process
• Coordinate with expert witnesses, including drafting reports and affidavits
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Requirements

• J.D. from a fully ABA-accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation and litigation cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with wage and hour claims
