About the role
Responsibilities
- Preside over Comité Social et Économique (CSE) meetings in France and manage all official documentation and legal notices
- Lead negotiations with employee representatives and trade unions to maintain a constructive social climate
- Advise on cross-jurisdictional compliance and standardize global employment contract templates
- Manage regional litigation, terminations, and employee grievances
- Support the legal implementation of AI, automation, and digital HR initiatives
- Collaborate with privacy and product teams on AI governance and employment data protection
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with EMEA experience, specifically in France
- 4–6 years of dedicated employment law experience, including French labor law
- Professional fluency in French and English
- Experience supporting global businesses across multiple jurisdictions
- Ability to work autonomously and provide commercial, risk-aware advice
