Employment Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group support to school leavers and clients with disabilities to identify skills and develop pathways into meaningful employment
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, families, school leavers, and stakeholders
• Facilitate engaging group capacity-building classes, work safety, and job search sessions
• Research industries and conduct warm and cold calls to prospective businesses to secure employment opportunities
• Liaise and negotiate with local employers to discuss suitability and refer employees to appropriate roles
• Ensure all reports and administrative compliance processes are strictly followed

Requirements

• Strong administration and writing skills
• Current NSW Driver’s License (P2 and above)
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications
• Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module
• Full-time work rights in Australia
