Employment Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging one-on-one or group support to school leavers and clients with a disability to identify employment interests and skills
• Develop individualised job plans, group plans, and presentations to support pathways into meaningful employment
• Facilitate capacity-building classes, work safety sessions, and job search workshops
• Research industries and conduct warm and cold calls to prospective businesses to secure employment opportunities
• Liaise and negotiate with local employers on behalf of clients to discuss suitability and referrals
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, families, school leavers, and stakeholders
• Ensure all reports and administrative processes comply with required standards

Requirements

• Great administration and writing skills
• Current NSW Driver’s License (P2 and above)
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
• First Aid and CPR certifications
• NDIS Orientation Module completion
• Full-time work rights in Australia
