About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor client Service Plans, including community service and internship assignments
- Provide work readiness training, job preparation counseling, and vocational training referrals
- Meet regularly with clients to assist with mitigating employment barriers like housing and childcare
- Conduct outreach to clients to ensure program engagement and compliance
- Assess client skills and job readiness to maintain a candidate pipeline
- Screen clients for job openings and work one-on-one to support successful job placement and retention
- Attend job fairs, networking events, and information sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with publicly-funded programs (TANF experience preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven team environment
- Experience in assessing needs and making reasonable accommodations for customers
- Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements related to program responsibilities
