About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise payroll processing, auditing, and accounting entries for employee expenses and expenditures for the Bank and its subsidiaries.
  • Guide team members to ensure operations are executed accurately and in compliance with approved policies.
  • Calculate and validate payroll, including salary adjustments, deductions, increments, and overtime payments.
  • Review and approve employee incentives, allowances, bonus payments, and resignation settlements.
  • Oversee the preparation of payroll reports, social security reports, and management reports.
  • Verify the accuracy of accounting entries and financial transactions related to payroll before system posting.
  • Manage employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and reimbursements.
  • Monitor payroll deductions such as loans, salary advances, and credit card installments.
  • Administer social security matters, including contributions and work injury reporting.
  • Analyze operational and control reports to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in payroll administration, compensation and benefits, or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll administration, accounting principles, and financial controls.
  • Comprehensive understanding of labor laws, social security regulations, and income tax requirements.
  • Proficiency in ERP platforms, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to professional integrity and confidentiality.
